The 58th Academy of Country Music Awards show took a very sexual turn on Thursday. When it was Dolly Parton's turn at the mic, the country legend took things to the next level, joking about having a threesome with Garth Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood.
Dolly was prepared for the intro and made a grand entrance with a special guest: a live goat! "I've got your G.O.A.T. right here," she joked before taking a moment to celebrate her cohost's amazing career.
GARTH HAS DONE A LOT FOR COUNTRY MUSIC.
Dolly gushed over the 61-year-old, crediting him with changing "the name of country music forever."
Dolly took a moment to expand on why her cohost was calling her the GOAT, joking about a possible secondary meaning for the acronym. "I think it stands for 'Garth organized a threesome!'" Dolly then joked about how she wasn't exactly opposed to the idea, and neither was her husband.
Dolly has been married to Carl Thompson Dean since 1966, and apparently the pair have already discussed Dolly's country crush. She told Garth that she'd already secured a "hall pass" for him and his wife of 18 years.
It's probably safe to say that Dolly is the biggest female name in country with Garth being the biggest male name, so it makes sense that they would immediately vibe on stage. From what we saw on screen, it looks like they had a blast together.
THE HOSTS DEFINITELY HAD SOME CHEMISTRY.
Whether that translated into any backstage shenanigans like Dolly suggested ... well, we guess we'll have to wait for her to spill the beans on that one!
