An 18-month-old toddler is already taller than her 3-year-old sister and nearly as tall as her mother. Magnolia Thomas already stands at 3 feet tall, and still has months before her second birthday.
Her parents, Clara and Arthur Thomas, say they were surprised and stunned when their younger child outgrew her older sister.

“Her doctor says she’s growing exactly where Magnolia needs to be, that it has nothing to do with what she eats or does, but that it’s purely genetic,” Clara said, reported New York Post.

IN ADDITION TO HER UNUSUAL HEIGHT, MAGNOLIA IS ADVANCED FOR HER AGE.
Magnolia’s parents shared that in addition to being large for her age, she is also ahead of the curve, especially when it comes to speaking and fine motor skills, per the New York Post.

“She effectively communicates all of her needs. Her sister was the same way,” she said. Magnolia can reportedly brush her own teeth as well as open doors and speak in full, but short sentences, her parents shared.

They also lovingly bragged about what a wonderful child she is saying, “She is such a joy to be around. She says ‘Hi’ to every person we pass in town, and she gives the best bear hugs! To know her is to love her, and we are beyond thankful for her and her sister."

According to some early childhood experts, toddler growth spurts can come on rather suddenly. Her dad is 6 feet tall, which may explain the toddler's height. Young children also grow the most during their first year of life.

Even though Magnolia is an unusual size for a toddler her age, she is not the only one. Many fellow parents and TikTok users shared the ages, heights, and weights of their toddlers who are above average size for their ages.
